Browns rookies begin adjusting to life in the NFL

The Cleveland Browns began a busy weekend on Friday with the opening of the club’s three-day minicamp for rookies.

General manager Andrew Berry checked off a few items on his list as the Browns signed five of their six draft picks, with second-rounder Michael Hall Jr. the lone outlier, and eight undrafted free agents. They are also hosting seven tryout players this weekend.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski and the coaching staff then had their first opportunity to begin working with the rookies and prepare them for their first NFL training camp, according to Stefanski (quote via a team-provided transcript):

“We look at it as this week is the start.
